ITI Scotland, which includes ITI Techmedia, Energy and Life Sciences, has integrated with Scottish Enterprise (SE).

The integration will provide greater opportunities for the work of ITI to influence SE’s wider activities, particularly around foresighting and key industry sector support.  This move will allow the ITI R&D programme activity to be consolidated and deployed into SE’s evolving approach to creating high growth technology companies, focusing more of our efforts on the commercialisation of IP and accelerating the rate of growth of new and existing technology companies.

The ITI foresighting activity will be used to identify business opportunities with substantial growth prospects and become central to industry planning for the Life Sciences, Energy, and Digital Media & Enabling Technologies priority Industry sectors, informing a wider range of SE’s industry-driven interventions.

Existing ITI R&D programme activity will continue.  Further information regarding existing programmes can be found on our websites, which will be integrated into the Scottish Enterprise site early in 2010.

We understand that, because of the integration, some of the information on the ITI web sites will become inaccurate and obsolete.  For example, some staff have already been relocated to Scottish Enterprise offices and contact details will change.

If you are having difficulty in locating us, please call 0141 248 2700 and ask for the person by name; the switchboard will then reroute your call.
